Greg Carr is a UI, Front-end developer and designer based in Los Angeles, California. Greg graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a B.A. in Studio Arts: Multimedia Design. His digital experience ranges from Entertainment to Automotive, working with clients such as Acura, Disney, Nissan, Infiniti, Warner Bros., and with the Motion Picture Association of America.
His professional experience started during his first internship at Rainstorm Entertainment in Beverly Hills. Here, Greg was in charge of creating an entire website for the independent documentary “John Henry: The Steel Driving Racehorse.” He was in charge of every aspect of the site including concept, Flash design, and content management. Greg gained even more professional experience at Concept Arts Studios in Hollywood. Here, Greg was exposed to some of the best talent in creative marketing for major motion films. He took part in advertisement campaigns for films like: “Get Him to the Greek,” “The Losers,” “Greatest,” and “Splice.” Along with film advertising, he took part in viral marketing campaigns for games like “Bioshock 2,” “Mafia 2,” and “XCOM.”
Greg’s professional career at TBWA\Chiat\Day in Los Angeles has given him the most robust interactive development experience. He has worked with clients such as Nissan, Infiniti, Jimmy Dean, and Energizer to create effective rich media user experiences. He was also tasked to create a company microsite that showcased an extensive amount of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. His passion for design can be seen in every aspect of his work, from start to finish.
Aside from his professional career, Greg is an avid music and art lover, foodie, and huge baseball/football fanatic. In 2012, he launched a t-shirt company with his good friend called KG Tees. They offer unique and somewhat humorous shirts for Angels baseball fans (his favorite team). Greg designs all the shirts and built the company website.
